The string quartet Lady Strings grew out of the GermanPopsOrchestra, founded in 1999. The four professional lady musicians feel at home in the most different fields of music. They are performing with renowned orchestras like the Staatsoper Stuttgart and Hamburg, the RadioSinfonieOrchester of the Südwestdeutsche Rundfunk, the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, the Mannheim Staatstheater and the Tonkünstlerorchester Wien. They also took part in the concert tour of Jon Lord (Ex Deep Purple), performed with Silje Nergaard, PUR and worked as studio musicians and in german TV-shows, for example in “Wetten, dass...?", "Verstehen Sie Spaß?", "Echo" and "Bambi".
